Vocational Units
This unit trains the students in handling different instruments like nail, screws, rivets, bolt & nuts, screw assembly and to handle big and small instruments appropriately
Trainees are allowed to handle soap boxes, medicine bottles, small and big plastic box, bolt and nut assembly etc to learn to assemble different parts of objects together to proper form and shape.
In this unit trainees are taught to arrange and pack different sizes and shapes of objects in all units of number neatly and without wastage. They handle dummy materials like cotton buds, rubber bands, safety pin, paper clips, etc.
They understand the use of weighing machine, to handle it. The training includes from the collection of materials, weighing , packing, sealing, labeling, counting, storing, packing, and pricing the finished product
This unit educates on skills in maintaining a shop and assisting skill. The training includes reinforcement of money skills, handling various units of money, exchanges and balance etc.
Skill training includes cleaning, arrangement, maintaining attendance, circular, passing verbal information, telephone handling, filing, stock register and purchase and other office assistance work as related to appropriate situation.
Students are given extensive knowledge on different types of sports and game using the necessary rules and forms
Trainees are taught to weave foot mat, wire chair, bamboo screen, and related weaving activities.
Training is given on making paper covers, paper bag, stationary files, paper plates, cardboard box and appropriate work in printing press.
Students learn to make chalks, candles, incense sticks, sambirani, camphor, phenyl.
Different skills like sawing, plaining, drilling, varnishing, maintenance of equipment are implemented in the training module.
students are taught simple from hand stitching to machine stitching, handling the machine, folding, ironing clothes, and other relate work activities
This unit involves on classroom maintenance and assisting the teacher with skills like dusting, arranging, individual and group activity, helping in meal time and toileting, basic academic concepts teaching, and games.
Students are trained on making greeting cards, different type of art and craft.
This unit gives knowledge on using cooking items with necessary precautions and methods and adopts simple ways of cooking.
Trainees will gain an understanding of computer and its function, to do simple operations, practice typing independently or with assistance. All Back office work will be included in the training module to provide maximum exposure in onscreen work
Students are imparted knowledge on bringing up a plant with necessary required methods, and to maintain a nursery
This unit includes different sections from processing unit, accounts section, weaving, packing, stocking of raw material and finished products, sales section. There are two group employments designed as - Group I: Chemical based products, and Group II: Packing provisions consumable at home..
